The CAPS Computational Biology Laboratory is hosting a two day informatics bootcamp this October. The Software Carpentry Bootcamp targets researchers who are familiar with basic programming concepts, and are looking to improve their programming abilities and learn common best practices. Developed and taught by Software Carpentry Instructors, this programming bootcamp will empower your coding by teaching you how to get the most from the command line, version tracking software, standard libraries, and SQL databases. For more information about Software Carpentry Bootcamps, please see the FAQs on their website: http://software-carpentry.org/faq.html#bootcamps
