The 9th Tripartite Meeting: Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology for Wellness was held October 30th through November 2nd in Maresias, SP, Brazil. Three Universities, The Ohio State University, Universidad de Sao Paulo, and Rutgers, come together every two years to share research and other scientific news. The goal of this conference is to build a long-term relationship between undergraduate researchers, graduate students, and faculty research programs of these Universities. This year, approximately 70 scientists gathered to share research and learn from their peers.

The meeting was packed with various scientific talks from experts and young talent talks from research students. Several CAPS members had the opportunity to attend this year's conference including, Ana Alonso. Ana was able to teach a Minicourse, Use of Mass Spectrometry in Biological Systems with several peers, and was also able to present to the crowd over the impact of elevated CO2 and drought on whole-plant metabolism.
